At the Center
Upon request, CWC can design a program to meet your specific learning needs. This can include a private tour for your students to learn about our work - meet out vet, hospital staff and trained volunteers; and visit the hospital, Baby Care Unit and species-specific outdoor enclosures where animals are rehabilitating until ready to return to the wild.
By request, CWC staff, trained volunteers and interns can make presentations to classrooms that include grade-specific curriculum and wildlife activities.
We also encourage students to organize fundraising activities in their own neighborhood or at school. Past events have included Bake Sales and “Stand for Animals” (lemon-aid stands). Our CWC marketing representative can provide you with all the educational materials needed like posters, brochures, flyers and emergency magnets.
